- Q: Does it need ink cartridge?
- A: No need, the printer head heat the thermal paper coating dot by dot and creates text or picture.
- Q: How about printing definition?
- A: It use Japanese quality thermal printing head of 203DPI (8 printing dots per mm), can meet reading requirement under normal distance. If you need to be close to the quality of laser printing, you can choose 304DPI model.
- Q: Can it have color printing?
- A: Only one color can be printed at a time. It supports thermal paper with monochromatic writing such as blue, yellow and pink on the market. In addition, there are color thermal papers with black handwriting printed on different color base papers.
- Q: What's the thermal paper specs?
- A: Thermal paper rolls with a width of 56-58mm and a diameter of 30mm or less can be supported.
- Q: Can it use thermal paper with adhesive or label?
- A: Yes
- Q: What's the LIR (Label Intelligent Recognition)?
- A: The PeriPage uses emit-absorb IR sensors instead of normal reflection sensor to capture the label gap more precisely, so it can study and identify different labels height and provides easy operation.
- Q: Can it connect to PC and print?
- A: Install the computer driver, you can use it just like a normal printer. It provides 2'' in width while the height is decided by content instead of fixed.
